is there a way to add an armour attribute to your heros head gear, or are heros just weaksauce like that?

You can add runes and inscriptions to your hero armor just like you can with your own Elonian originated armor.
But unlike your own armor, you can salvage and apply runes/inscriptions at will as you will never destroy the hero armor. |

Armor pieces take insignias, not inscriptions.

ok I am going to be real specific this time...
item attribute +1...do you see it...to #1 that is what I call armour attribute so just like all four ranger masks...expertise wilderness beasttamers and archers, how to add specific HEAD GEAR attributes to your hero. for heros the head gear always says item's attribute +1, does the mean the weapons attribute? If so it doesn't add a visual change to the items attribute in the skill/attribute window. |

The +1 matches whatever rune you put on it. No rune, no attribute bonus.

The headgear attribute +1 does nothing until you add a rune to it. When you add the rune, the head gear takes on the attribute of that rune.
If you add a major rune of for example Beast Mastery to your hero's head piece, the head piece would change to: Beast Mastery +1 (stacking) Beast Mastery +2 (non-stacking) and your hero would gain three attribute points in Beast Mastery. |
